What is a runescape pin?

I am slightly unclear as to what a member's pin is. Is it just one of those 30 day membership cards that they sell? Also, if I donate one, I get 9000 points and ulti-donor status? What is ulti-donor status?

Ultimate Donator: We will be opening a new thread when we get big, which only Ultimate Donators and mods and admins can see the accounts will be cheaper there!
